Like Every other Land

Like Every Other Land

In recent times, the news has been abuzz with it: a documentary they called “No Other Land.”

The first time I heard of it, I slid past.

They said it won an Oscar, and I was not interested in any Oscar, Pulitzer, or Nobel.

They said it was produced by Palestinians with a Jewish guy and a lady who live in Israel.

Not interested. They always come out with one silly, crappy claim after another.

After all, it will still be the same old thing, the same old Palestinian joke.

You know, like the one the late Saeb Erekat told Tzipi Livni in Munich in 2013.

He told Livni that he was the son of Netufians and Canaanites, that his ancestors owned Jericho, which was burned by Joshua bin Nun, and that he wouldn’t change his narrative.

Meanwhile, Erekat’s family came from Huwaitat in the northwest Arabian Peninsula into Eretz Israel less than two centuries ago.

Or maybe like the jokes of Yasser Arafat.

When he claimed that he and his people are ancient Jebusites and that they own Jerusalem.

However, his ancestor, Sayid al-Qudwa, came into Eretz Israel from Syria’s Aleppo in 1658.

“No one will take the joke of a documentary seriously,” I thought.

But it appears that some people are actually taking the joke seriously and worrying about it.

So I decided to take a little look at it.

It turns out that the documentary was about a Palestinian village—or should I call it a hamlet—erected in Judea and Samaria called Masafer Yatta.

You know, one of those structures they set up without authorization from Israel and many times, with funds contributed by their supporters in Eurabia and elsewhere.

All in an effort to continue their Palestinianism—a weapon deployed since 1964, with its numerous arsenals to further Arab imperialism and colonialism in the MENA.

A weapon deployed to do to the Jews what they did to the Yazidis, Berbers, Assyrians, Kurds, and virtually every other ethnic nationality in the MENA.

A weapon whose arsenal ranges from terrorist attacks to diplomatic pressure at the UN through their resolutions and numerous organizations.

A weapon that includes Pallywood and the plastering of their silly claims together with genuine indigenous and oppressed national liberation movements, thus demeaning and insulting those peoples’ struggles.

A weapon of land grabbing via erecting illegal structures as they did in Masafer Yatta, so that when they are taken down by Israel, they will scream “Demolition of indigenous people’s homes!”

Are people worried because they have described the demolition of the land-grabbing and imperialism constructs at Masafer Yatta as ethnic cleansing, while the filmmakers accuse Israel of oppression and apartheid?

It beats me why it has to be considered oppression to demolish an illegal structure used to further imperialism and apartheid, or to refuse citizen rights to non-citizens residing in the territories of another nation.

Don’t build illegally on another people’s lands, and it won’t be taken down. Don’t expect citizen rights when you are not a citizen of the country you live in. What’s so difficult to understand about that?

Or is it about that silly Jewish guy and the lady who supported them and helped them with that documentary?

If Israel has the likes of Gideon Levy, Ilan Pappe, and Shlomo Sand, then those two are of no import. After all, the Jews also had an Abraham Gancwajch and his Zagiew group in the Warsaw ghetto, along with Hellenized Jews who supported the Seleucids against their people.

But to me, I think the two of them are a product of the kind of stupid narrative that the likes of Ehud Barak, Peres, and other leftist loonies have encouraged, taught, and foisted on the populace of Israel.

Those two are a product of a terrible Israeli societal education and Hasbara.

Now I don’t know what they do at the Oscars or what qualifies for an award there.

Well, they can give the documentary an Oscar for having beautiful pictures or videos, or maybe for the kind of camera they used for filming or whatever else.

So long as the Oscar is not about the documentary having its narrative based on the principles of truth, justice, fairness, and human rights, they can have a thousand Oscars.

But if it has to do with any of the principles above or standing for morality and truth, then the Oscar is a joke.

By the way, why is it that the Palestinians will never become original in their narratives?

They can’t even create an original lie for themselves but must copy and fake whatever someone else has done.

They stole Jewish prophets, history, rabbis, structures, and monuments and plastered them onto themselves.

They even stole and designed their flag in accordance with that of Jordan and Iraq.

They claim to have become ancient Canaanites and Philistines when they never identified as such prior to 1964, nor explained where they were hiding as Canaanites all these centuries when Roman and Greek historians were recording the people of Eretz Israel.

They even went ahead to steal and fake the title of an Israeli song, “I Have No Other Country,” written by Ehud Manor, composed by Korin Ala’l Z’L  and first recorded by Gali Atari in 1986 as a late response to the death of Manor’s younger brother in the War of Attrition. A song even sung in the Kibbutzim after October 7.

Now they faked it into “No Other Land.”

Is there not something like an infringement on copyright or anything like that for this kind of faking that they should be sued for?

Well, what else can a scam and fraudulent entity do if not keep inventing fakes?

And yes, they are right: no other land indeed.

No other land but Israel will allow the Palestinians’ chutzpah as they keep occupying its territories and attacking its people. They tried that in Kuwait and Jordan and then regretted it.

No other land except Israel will allow foreign imperialism and colonialism to be championed and enacted on its territories as the Arabs are doing with the Palestinians in Eretz Israel.

No other land except Israel will allow non-citizen residents of its territories who hate it and call for its demise to keep living on any of its lands, while providing jobs, electricity, and other amenities to them.

No other land except Israel will allow money to flow through it to entities that will use those same funds openly to encourage the delegitimization of the land and then pay its people for killing the owners of the land housing them.

No other land except Israel will ever tolerate allowing another nation to exercise ownership or control over structures erected within it, except for foreign embassies.

No other land except Israel can tolerate a people firing rockets at it, killing and kidnapping its people and vowing to continue doing so while living nearby, let alone existing on any of its territories.

And so it is better for Israel to start acting like every other land.

Like every other land, Israel should stop tolerating the Palestinian occupation of its territories and attacks on its people and expel the whole lot, as Kuwait and Jordan did.

Like every other land, Israel should stop allowing the Arab imperialism and colonialism agenda via Palestinianism to continue in Israel. Every other people freed from imperialism and colonialism of their lands have ensured that the colonizing forces and their empires were run off, as seen from Poland to Greece, African countries to Vietnam and India.

Like every other land, Israel should ensure that those working for its demise are expelled from its territories. The USA and Britain did not even consider whether their own Nazis and Japanese were citizens or not before interning them during WW2. Here, Israel allows not just its citizens but also non-citizens residing in its territories, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, who call for its destruction to roam free.

Like every other land, Israel should stop allowing another nation to control whatever structures lie within its territories or dictate how and what they should be used for. Jordan has no right to dictate how the Temple Mount should be run, just as no one dictated to Turkey what they did to the Hagia Sophia, or to the Indians what they did to the Babri mosque at Lord Ram’s birthplace, or the ones erected at the site of their Somnath temple.

Like every other land, Israel should stop allowing a people who keep firing rockets at its cities to keep living in its own territory, for no nation can condone that.

Like every other land, Israel should stop countenancing anyone ever asking whether it should exist. No one asks every other existing nation whether they should exist, so long as they fulfill the criteria under the Montevideo Convention of 1933 that an entity must have to be termed a state.

Like every other land, Israel should..
